Impulse. Its a more non-spyder type of gun, I think. I know you can do 30 bps with the one, but I would rather have a higher end gun. Also, the Impulse is made with higher quality parts. In Paintball, you get your bang for the buck.

Even though I dislike Smart Parts, the Impulse is better than any M3 product. IMO Dragun can't compare to the reliability, service and performance of Smart Parts.

Their are plenty of companies who make knockoff markers and price them much much more than they are worth. But if your buying popular name brand markers then you usually get what you pay for.

To influence you more diffently Impy. More available upgrades, and the Impy has more "potential", beside the fact that it's better stock anyways.

If they have great reliablility, service (ex. helpful) , and performance, why do you dislike them?

smart parts is not reliable, they dont have good service, and the performance of an impulse is easily shadowed by the bushmaster which can be found for the same price, only worthwhile imps are custom impulses such as python or rat

An Imp, is an Imp.
Any Imp with the same parts in it will perform the same as another with the same parts in it. Only thing different about custom Impulses like the Rat, Strange, etc. is that they already have some aftermarket upgrades available for the Imp in them from the factory, and a cool custom anno/mill job. As for the Python, it has the CVS VA, which means that it comes with a drilled hole right above the VA to fit in the CVS. And since the milling is so extreme, they put a steel tube in the body of the Imp.

But I heard from some Imp owners that their Imp was really heavy. They compared it to bricks!

Were they weeklings? I mean come on...
My Imp's not even heavey. The weight doesn't bother me at all.
And ya, I guess SP has ok CS. Sent my Imp into them one day. Got it back 1 - 2 weeks later. All they had to do was install a new microswitch in the Board, and put on a new gauge in the VA. This piece of paper thatw as in the box when I got it back said they they cleaned, greased, replaced blown reg gauge, and repaired broken L/S switch on board. Then it says "Your tech was wally." (???) Now I have to pay $29.50 on something that I thought had a warranty.
I looked over the Imp. The trigger is way off, I need to adjust it now. There was paint leeking from the Vision Eye cover thing right next to the right side ball detent. And I'm pretty sure they didn't clean it, or grease it because it had a bunch of finger prints, etc. on the Imp, and it was greased exactly how I remember. I know I greased it in places that didn't need to be greased, and in places that weren't supposed to be greased. Now I need to see if they setup my Imp correctly.
