Spyder Image vs Spyer TLX

Which do you think is better?
Spyder Image - electric for $20 extra, could it be that good?

Spyder TLX - new spyder, not too sure much about it.

The Imagine would probably be better. First off, the Imagine is electro while the TLX is a semi-auto only gun. The Imagine comes with a built in LCD screen and can be set to the modes semi-auto, 3 shot burst, and full auto. Of course, since the Imagine is electro it would need more caring for than the TL-X(Recharging batteries, could use and electric hopper, etc.) They are both great guns, it just depends on what you want in a paintball gun.

Thanks, I am looking around for my friend since he wants to get into the sport. I thought a spyder would be the best gun for him.

Yep, no problem. Alot of people have recommended the tippmann 98c for a first timer because they are very durable. A spyder would also be a good intro to paintball depending on which one you get. I think either of the two would be good.

Yes, the Spyder Imagine is way better, but sometimes electro guns arent the best for a first timer although sometimes they are. Just depends what your comfortable with.

well, the tlx is good, it looks better, and it's just not electric, which means it doesn't tempt you to waste paint...even though i still do waste paint, it also teaches you to plan ur shots

plus, there are no wires or anything to break on the TL-X. its a solid gun that will hold its own.
