Ya well the 1 is fairly new on the market (less than 1 year?) & all/most markers Including the omen are usually buggy when they are fist released. This is deffinately the case with the 1 & probably the case with your friends T1. They have quite a following now and have been revised & de bugged like the omen. Furthermore Dragun has 1 of the best warranties out there so even if there is a problem they'll fix it for you. I don't like the omen cuz I think the whole closed bolt thing is a gimmick. Think about it; It just makes your markers internals more complicated & does not affect accuracy in the least & if you don't bore size your paint to fit snug it will just roll out of the barrel & your gun would cycle faster if it were open bolt too so IMO the only thing the omen has to offer is the cam feed which isn't worth the xtra $50 to $100 bux you spend over the 1 when I can just get a victory boarded halo & never chop anyways.

closed bolt theory is a gimmick..lol

The closed bolt design is inherently more accurate as the breech is fully sealed by the bolt and the bolt is not travelling at the moment of firing. Also, range is increased, as all the gas is used to propel the ball and none is vented away to work the action. However, closed bolt designs must have perfectly tuned valves because they rely on an EXACT amount of gas to be released for every shot.

Yah.......If you really are 2 retarded to adjust a screw for recock.just buy "the one".....seriously how hard iz it to read a manual and turn a screw?

Go with an omen. Stock 15 bps. With pdp chip 25 bps. I would highly recomend an omen. $400.00 is def. not a rip of for this gun. Juts go out and buy a freek with cocker threads and ur all set.

A buddy of mine has an omen. The gun currently sits on the shelf waiting for the new internals from evil b/c the factory ones crapped out on him. Don't expect that cam feed system to be perfect, either. Even with the egg, it still would chop, and it is a pain to clean if it breaks in the cam feed system. The one, on the other hand, is not a bad gun. I know someone who has one, that thing is a great buy for the price. Fast, reliable, has an eye, basically a copy of the timmy at a lower price. I would go with the one, but that's b/c I haven't had a good experience with an omen yet.

I've never chopped once yet. I use a Halo though, i never recommend eggs on anything that shoots over 20 bps

Think about it; the only way to get any benfeit from closed bolt is to shoot slowly & open bolt markers have dwell settings (including the 1) to get the same affect.

Guys how much do you think the one costs?

Ive seen it go for $220.

Ok so you have a already great gun for $220. Its easily better than an omen stock.

Now the omen goes for $350.

That means we can add $130 to it.
So we add a new lpr like a palmers, a quck exhaust valve, and a bob long torpedo reg.

Then maybe a $5 microswitch from radioshack. Mod it to 50 grams by adjusting the spring.

There you go.
