spyder imagine vs spyder imagine select
spyder imagine ($114)
spyder imagine select (139)
im new to the sport and all the specs confuse me lol so i need help to determine if the select is worth the extra 25 bucks. also im planning on getting a new barrel and a new bolt but im not sure which types so help with that will be nice.
if this gun sucks ass dont please let me know before i waste my money. Also if you think that there is a better gun out there for the price that would be helpful also. The most i would spend on a gun is $200 but i would only consider the $200 gun only if it will make the spyder imagine look like a dinky airsoft gun
thanks, any help will be much appreciated

Deff get the regular imagine, the select is the same except it has a drop forward and its a different color...its not worth 25 bucks just for a drop forward.

Element is right man. THere is pretty much 0 performance difference. And if ur really into this stuff ur just gonna get aftermarket parts. So save urself some cash and get the imagine.

Wow cool, quick responses, i guess i found a good forum.
well, ive been doin a lot of reading in this forum and many people seem to recommed the dragun T.E.S ($179). Should i get this instead of the imagine? To what degree is the T.E.S better than the imagine? Is it worth the $65 difference? Which one would cost more to mod? And what about the T.E.S vs a spyder Fenix ($220)<--which is my friends first gun. i kind of want a fenix just because my friend has one but i have a feeling the T.E.S. is better.
lol sorry about the chain of questions, i have a feeling there are more to come. lol the more i read the forums the more i want to paintball =P

now its down 2 the imagine vs T.E.S vs Fenix
After having a barrel upgrade and a bolt upgrade, which one is the most accurate. This will be my determining factor

TES can hit like 20 bps out of the box i think. It's also not a blowback, its kinda a knock off intimadator. Accuaracy is determined by paint to barrel match. Not the gun. I don't know much about ups for it though... The fenix is just like a imagine, just different milling. Ur gonna learn one thing from spyders, THEY ALL THE SAME. So buy a spyder u like, or get that TES, which seems to be quit popular

Go TES! It has eyes so you won't chop paint, they are capabale of 20 bps and I think they look better too. Also get a good motorized hopper (empire reloader or an egg), and if you have the cash get a decent nitro tank and then later upgrade your barrel.

do i have to go nitro with the T.E.S? would i still be fine w/ just a co2 tank? In other words, does the T.E.S. suck with just a co2 tank.
**nvm i found the answer
