Don't listen to 2ffu. Both are roughly the same. They are mech spyders. They are low end. they will not dissapoint you unless you are planning on playing tournies or something. If you want faster get an Imagine. thats a pretty nice electric gun. electric guns will fire faster and it has full auto and burst.Note you are not allowed to use those in most fields. Im currently having problems with my ESP trigger frame though and i wish i had a mech back-up frame to slap on it. But i am happy with my Imagine overall. To answer your question, get whichever one you think looks the best from www.xpaintball.com

welll... i was also comparing these markers, and i decided on the tlx. but thats me. at x paitball, the xtra is 74.77 i think and the tlx is 86.77. they pretty much have the same features. . dual trigger frame , semi auto, anti double feed drop forward and vertical drop. they both only come in blue, the xtra lighter blue tha the tlx. the tlx has an aluminium trigger so that is better. close up i personally think the tlx looks better, but from 20 yards nobody would be able to tell the diff. the tlx has been reviewed to preform better, but not necessarily by a lot. most ppl say they preform the same because they are mechs, but that is really up to u. if ui think thye are the same, get the xtra, if not, spring hte 12 bucks for the tlx cuz it is lighter i think, and the co2 bottom line is steel braided.

the info and pic for the tlx is http://www.xpaintball.com/spydertlx.html
thie info and pic for the xtra is http://www.xpaintball.com/bluspydxtrap.html

hope this helps, i worked a little bit for this one (rep point?)

surrree but do u really want your gun decided on the size of a tank? u can always sell the 12 oz tank and take the three dollars, buy a 20 oz tank which will be cheaper, soooo. the tlx pack with sold 12 oz and bought 20 oz is cheaper than xtra pack, but with better gun! what a great deal!!

look for the 12 and the 20 oz, they are 2 dollars diff, both Pure Energy
