WGP T-Ranger
hey guys i have been fringing with paintball for a few years now and i think i'm getting close to finally getting myself a marker. I did a lot of research about a year ago and was pretty much decided on a WGP T-Ranger,any suggestions on where to find one, and what you think of the marker?

Think they are discontinued mate, I know the e-Ranger is. What are you looking at spending? Coz if they are dis cont. Then the best set-up can be found for you based on that. OR you can read the sticky... think that there is one on which gun is best in which price range.

the e-ranger was origionally made my WGP, until they decided that autocockers were more of their thing. They were around $180... but they don't make them anymore.
Get a cheap spyder(i.e. the Imagine 04- $130) and spend your money on paint and air to play more. skills are devoloped by playing, not buying stuff
read more threads on spyders before you buy.

i would actually suggest a decent pump instead of a electronic spyder/spyder clone. it will develop more skills than that. or if you REALLY dont want a pump i would suggest then like a mech gun. fire fast and relying on speed = bad for new players

well, i've been playing rental guns a couple of years now, and i was originally thinking of getting a 98 cust and pimpin it, but the t-ranger, when i found it, looked like such a better deal. I like the double trigger, it looks pimp, and from all the reviews i've read, it was a ver decent gun for the money. they discontinued that model, but are any of the current models a continuation of that idea or has WGP gone strictly high end?

I reccomend against the T or E ranger. They have a big name behind them, but they're really just spyder clones and IMO don't shoot very well. With my experiences, they've always seemed to just not work right (funny how cockers do the same thing ). I reccomend you get a spyder and drop an XSF board and eyes in it. It will be a cheap, extremely fast, and relaible gun.

The kid is a genius. Listen to him. Spyders are good markers and they don't break.
EDIT: I spelled spider to day like "spyder" like the pb gun. AHA that sucked. Just thought you guys should know.

the imagine's electronic, right? i was actually thinking of going with the rodeo, because idk if i really trust electronic markers. that's speaking from little to no experience with tham, maybe somebody could give me a little more insight into the biggest difference besides ROF. I've played with mostly rental 98c's and i like the feel of em, but am looking to get a little more performance/aesthetics out of my marker.

Listen to Kyle. Get an imagine. They are relialble, and you will want to upgrade to electro anyway. I regret not doing this myself. Oh and get a t-board if you do go electro. Xfs is twice as much but the t-board is better.

He prob. means he regrets not getting an electonic frame for it. But yeah, pump would be your best bet. Then when you get some skill by using a pump, you can get an eleco marker.
