Which of these dirt cheap markers = best

I am trying to get a friend who is very limited on budget to break into the sport along with me. He cannot afford a Tippman 98C (my marker) and so I looked up some extremely cheap guns for him.

Piranha Black Maxx - $50
Piranha R6 2K4 - $75

Spyder Victor - $50
Spyder Xtra - $75
Spyder TLX - $85

Viewloader Maxis - $100

Don't do it.
Get the tippy. Buy one used if you have to, but there is no justifiable reason for getting any of those guns.

They will all let him down, I promise. The tippmann 98c is a fantastic entry level marker, and compared with that, those markers are just a terrible decision.

If he absolutely must, tell him to get a xtra, its the exact same on the inside as the other 5 you listed, just cheaper, after you factor in bottom line setup.

But seriously, go with the tippy. Anything less expensive is a waste of money.

Then it looks like we'll be exploring the used and remanufactured market

Thank you for the strong warning - I guess I knew the answer already but still needed someone to slap me across the face

i had a TLX and it was fine...those are great entry level markers also...better for speedball...it depends on what you want to play such as woodsball or speedball....if you want to play woods then go with the tippy no doubt but for speedball the TLX would be the best one
