which is a better deal?
my dad is going to get a better gun. and he knows some one who is selling a lcd angel 2k2 for around $350 its just a stock one. or he was looking at a smart parts ion. which one is better?
he plays mostly indoor and some times woods but mostly indoor

I say take the angel, the Ion isn't proven yet and smart parts has been known to cut corners with their new products. If he's really attached to the Ion, tell him to wait until some new upgrades come out, or until the "generation two" run. Hope this helps!

thats a decent deal on the angel if i'm thinking straight. thecolinator is correct, watch out for build quality from the ION.

also, tell your dad to have that guy get his angel checked/cleaned by a certified tech. older angels have been known to take dumps after so many shots...
but if it works, it'll rip like a monkey on steriods... ya.
Or, he could just buy an ion w/break beam eyes, PRED coming soon, changeable cases...
kinda tough choice...

get angel. Send to TAG (the angel guy, group of top notch angel mastertechs) have them do a clean up on it, and maybe have ACE/PRED installed. All told that would equal ~$400 right? B/c pred and ace is like $300+ for older angels. Correct me if i'm wrong here...

i would go with the angel. it may be a 2k2 but it is still worth it like everyone else said watch what the ion does before you buy it

like 15bps i think. Don't quote me on that. Ask the angel guys what they'd do to a stock 2k2 lcd. They will definitly recommend PRED/ACE which makes it much faster, and gives it eyes, for no chops. I think dhill might have a 2k2...

no, with just some ups they can hit high-teens low 20's.(i pretty sure)
ya, i say get the 2k2, send it to Tag for Pred and the gold service(comes with pred i believe).
And about pred costing more for older ones, you can prolly find out by emailing/phoning tag.
or you could get it fly'd from any WDP mt(fma, angelservice, etc.). but most people say go with Pred. I never shot a pred'd gun, so... ya.
