[Cocker16]

Well went balling today and didnt have my angel so my friend let me use his Ion for a couple games.

Ive heard alot about these guns and said sure.

Set up was haloB victory board, and my 72/45 lp crossfire.
the gun other than that was totally stock.

To start off.

Size etc.
very small profile extremly light also. Also the plastic doesnt look to cheap.

The gun though does seem to be quite awkward with the tank so far out. Id suggest a small drop or a rail of some sorts. I use an UNI Mount myself so id lean toward uni mount and me wanting a drop on this guns shows something.

Another must is a new barrel. its a pos. and its plastic or w/e on the outside.

Trigger frame-

It has a good feel to it. though if u buy one u should shorten the trigger length if u wanna get 18bps.

Feedneck-
OMFG WTF i thought i broke it. literally the halo was a very tight fit on the feedneck, and when i started to screw off the halo the feedneck came with it. No big deal. but trying to get it back on was a Bich. I thought i crossthreaded the threads so a new feedneck is also a must. its only held on by 1 and a half threads so be careful with it.

Playing-

bieng its much lighter than an angel i felt it was just an extension of my arm. I could fire it ok. but i needed a short trigger. the trigger is ok for a stock trig.

its quite accurate i did not see any balls flying far off the regular trajectory.
and mishaps was probly from a poor ball to barrel match or the stock barrel bieng a pos.

I had only one chop with the eyes off. its a ***** to try and clean on the field so always make sure the eyes are on.

No chops occured with the eyes on.

Overall

its a great gun for the price and it does live up to the hight and its a great tourny or back up gun.

My team wants to get a back up marker and this marker has been named alot lately.

O and btw i noticed a leak from the macro line fitting but it was a simple fix, just twist the fitting a little and the leak stops.

id rate it an 7.5/10. just because of the minor drawbacks. an upped ION would be quite sexy.

Buy this gun if u want the accuracy of a cocker and the speed of a high end gun. but for the price of a low end gun.

nicely put^^^^. i really do like my ion, but the ASA is one f-ed up thing lol. once the trig is adjusted its pretty nice IMO. i will be buying (or getting) a drop first, then a reg, then a feedneck, then a trigger. i alreayd have the barrel. i think that its a real good review btw.

I shot and friends and wow do the rip....Very light...Im gonna get one myself...BTW You're right it does seem akward, maybe cause my guns so heavy..

Shot my cousins ion they do rip. The stock triggers not the greatest and the ASA is a ***** but those are small fixes. On rebound its easy as hell to cap the board and on semi i can send a nice stream of paint
