I can get a gun for $25 but is it worth it?

So i got a friend whos supposedably good and he goes out and gets another gun on clearance for $25. Its a Piranha G2 and he claims its pretty good but i can really trust his opinion becasue he just wants me to play. He wants to sell it to me (he kinda bought it for me to buy it) and im in a need of a first gun but a want one that works pretty good and is upgradable. Im pretty sure $25 for just a gun(not including hopper or gas tank) is worth it but if i go and play rec ball at a place will i be at a big disadvantage? Iv only played once and i want a gun that is somewhat realable. But the main question is will this gun give me a good start or will it be too bad and just get me shot up?

You could buy that and then order this...

$75 bucks to get into the sport isn't that bad. But if you don't want to spend a lot on a gun, how are you going to play? My guns have costed me a fraction of what I've spent on balls and air.

Or you could just go get a starters package with a spyder on ebay or something.

Unless sum1 pulls out a shocker or sumhtin, rec. ball, the gun matters alot less IMO. Go with this gun, then buy mask, hopper n tank.

Its pretty close to them, especially the victor. It will definitely be a good buy. Its not that hard to clean and stuff, after the first time taking it apart, you will be able to do it with your eyes closed almost.
