i am thinking of getting a proto 05 but i is so much money so i didnt want to go buy it and it not be that good so i was wondering if any one has one or has played with one, and r they good ur not and what can i get that is better for cheaper

well the proto 05 is 799.95 so somthing around that price

Right now, proto's are running about $730 new.

But word on the street is that in the next couple of weeks the price will be down to $650.

As for how good they are, depending on what upgrades you put on it, it can be just as good as any gun out there. Thier fast, light, small and shoot pretty damn smoothly.

haha...

barber, just a few months ago proto's new were $950 almost everywhere...then on a "special" site they were $799 now they are at that price everywhere else...why are they going so cheap now? Im guessing that a gun is about to come out in the $700-$750 price range that will blow away everything...
