Edit- To fix the pictures
Even though these were a limited edition run. Alot of people ask me about bonebrakes so thought I would write up a review. Plus a bonebrake is a just a upgraded/modded bushmaster so if this could helpfull if you are thinking about getting a bushmater and/or plan on upgrading it. Go here for the specs on the bonebrake bushmaster series M, F, and T series
http://www.danbonebrake.com/bushmaster.html
But basically its like this
Stock F series bonebrake bushmaster will have:
Choas Board
CP reg,barrel
CCM feedneck
Bonebrake Harness, Bolt, ram, and some kind of valve(not sure its a aftermarket valve, but I know its not a stock or vaporwork valve.)
Besides for that and the obvious better milling and paintjob. The only thing the the same on a regular stock icd bushmaster b2k4 is the trigger and LPR. Not sure about the detents though.
My Setup:
Gold Bonebrake Bushmaster F series
Empire Reloader B
Pmi 70/4500 Blue
Choas 2k4 w/ vlink
CP reg, barrel
All bonebrake internals, valve, harness, bolt, ram.
Magnet Mod
CCM feedneck
Silver Zen 15 degree asa
Clear smart parts 45s
Silver smart parts on/off
Recommended
Upgrades: Nothing you need to. But If you want you could upgrade to a better barrel. a better LPR be a good upgrade, macdev makes a good one I hear. If your fan of magnetic triggers Gregicd on pbnation does these trigger mods or go to blueforkdesign.com . Somthing that just came out, is the trayless mod, gets rid of the huge tray. Makes it alot more compact and looks alot better.
Review: I bought this off a guy used for a 675. Back before bushmasters sales dropped. They were 800 from bonebrake new last time they were on the market, pretty pricey for a bushmaster but bonebrake has completely modded and upgraded it for you, go here for specs
http://www.danbonebrake.com/bushmaster.html if you want them. Mine is the F Series version. If your a fan of the bushmaster line you should love it. It's never givin me any trouble. Its accurate, very balaned even w/ tank and hopper on. Its perfect for playing tight and upfront. Extremely fast and won't chop thanks to the pds. Paintballs land on top of each other, accurate. A little tall though, but just get in touch w/ ********** for the trayless mod. Overall I love this marker, fits my style of play. Would recommend it.
Pros:
Balanced/Compact
It has a 60 degree/clamshell pistol grip, not your usual 45(though 45 grips will fit), its really comfortable.
Great for snap shooting.
Fast. I love to shoot this thing on ramping and not feel it kick whatsoever.
NO kick.
Accurate.
Doesn't Chop/PDS.
Bonebrake Milled body=VERY light.
Autococker threads.
And the overall quality of the body is excellent very durable w/o any of that weight.
One reason I love this marker is the low maintence involved. Just unscrew the ram out and reclean/lube it and screw it back in. And I usually wipe down the bolt and spray it w/ teflon and your done. Its just a overall very simple gun, not much that can go wrong.
Cons:
I hate the stock trigger w/ the spring. But love it now w/ the magnets.
Not the most effecient, but if its set right its by no means the worst.
The bodys milling isn't the greatest, doesn't look bad, but you can see the milling marks.
Thought I also add that wiring harness isn't the greatest.
Conclusion: Looking for a lighweight compact marker, that accurately slings paint like a crazy mamma jamma without any chops, well my friend you have found it.
