A-L-I-A-S is the fuggun bomb
Ok so I just picked up an Alias, here is my review.
Setup:
2k5 Alias Intimidator (all black.)
CP direct mount
Hybrid bolt
stock regs
Dye glued ultralite
Frenzy 127.4 (now tadao)
Function trigger.
In shooting the gun: The Alias is a major step forward from its 2k2 brethren. I found that it had very little kick and felt good to shoot too, with my LPR at ~70 psi. It was also quiet, which is something i prefer in my guns.
LOOKS: The Alias is a thing of beauty. The gun looks very well-machined, and high quality. The annodizing is good, and I could not find any purpleishness in the black.
MAINTINENCE: When i recieved the gun it was pretty dirty, so i had to go all out in taking the gun apart and cleaning everything. In a regular day's maintence, the gun is VERY easy to clean and re-grease, simply by popping the bolt out and unscrewing your ram cap and tapping the rammer out of your gun. it can be done in a minute.
(FULL DISSASEMBLY): This will take some time. It's just like taking apart any other gun, except for removing the ram sleeve. This is one of a few complaints I have with the gun. Taking the barbs off can be difficult, as extreme care must be taken not to destroy the barbs. Luckily, this is not something you have to do often, if ever. I did simply to clean the gun, as it was very dirty when i recieved it. In the process I broke one barb, which cost me $7 to replace at my local proshop.
FEEL: The gun is insanely comfortable, the frame is perfect for my hands. The hpr is also perfectly spaced from the grip frame which makes the gun very comfortable indeed.
COST: I think that this is the best gun to pick up in the high end market, being around $600-700 used it performs better in my opinion than the more expensive used and new dm6, g7 fly, ect... New the Alias is $945, but picking one up used can save you a great deal of money.
ELECTRONICS: The stock Frenzy board works great for me. It is very fast, well adjustable, and easy to use. The wiring is pretty good quality. Thankfully, the eyes use wires instead of Ribbon, which sucks and breaks easily.
Things I liked: No trigger pin to be banged out of the gun, stock parts were great for the most part (torpedo, lpr, clamping feedneck, ect.)
CONS: I would suggest getting clear spyder detents. Also the barbs are very weak. I would put a rubber band around my bolt pin to hold the bolt back during non play so it doesn't slide forward and wear out your detents.
In comparison to my friends' (BARBER on here) ego: The ego is a little thinner, but louder. Also, I couldn't seem to get comfortable with the gun, also disliked the optical trigger. Both guns get about the same efficiency, around ~1500 shots off a 68/45.
In conclusion, I think this gun is the best deal on the market. I love it and won't be getting different gun anytime soon. If your looking for a great and cost-effective gun (used) to dive into the high end market with the Alias is definitley the best choice.

The last time I saw an alias was when it was being thrown on the ground and cursed at for breaking every other ball going into it and then leaking. The owner cursed at bob long, bob long guns, and delta paintball and the fat ****s that work there.
Thats my alias review.
