*** Dm6 Review ***

I have had it for two months now, so I figured I would write a review because of extreme boredom. So let's get started.

Specs:

Trauma Board
Lucky Top Hat Mod
CP Reg
CP full bore kit

Out of the box:
I opened up the convenient and very small package, the way they packaged the Dm6's is a very smart idea to save space and I was pleased. I took it out and put some paint in and started shooting and tinkering a bit. I liked the feel out of the box, before I put in the top hat mod, new reg, new kit, and Trauma Board and it shot very nice.

Maintenance:

Bolt Assembly: Very easy for me at least, just take out the bolt cap and push out the bolt components, unscrew the 3-piece design and just lube everything up real quick and it's done. Lubing the bolt assembly usually takes me 2-3 minutes.

Lpr: I have yet to lube this yet, you only need to every couple dozen cases and I have only shot about 15-18 cases through it so far.

Hpr: I replaced the Hyper 2 shortly after I purchased the gun so I never lubed it, the CP reg though is simple to lube.

Speed:
The UL frame trigger is fast, I have kept the spring in the trig just due to preference and I love the UL trigger, it just goes perfectly with how I like to shoot, stock or Trauma Board this gun is fast.

Performance:
This gun has a little kick, I run my lpr at 2 turns out, but the kick is mainly because I am so small but normal people won't feel a thing. The efficiency is very good for Matrices and still decent for most guns, I can get 9 pods off my 68/45 once I put in the top hat mod. At NPPL Tampa this thing shot better than any gun I have EVER used in my whole history in paintball, I was using Hellfire for most of the tournament, I have used Infamous's, Ripper 1's, Alias's, ND's, Ripper 2's, Dm5's, Pm6's, G7's, 05 Ego's, 06 Ego's, 05 AND 06 Nexus Ego's, and some more that I have probably forgotten, my Dm6 shot better than them all.

Profile + Weight:
This amazing gun is very light and small, I feel so in control of my setup when I am using this gun, it really is a great feeling to have.

Pros:
Small
Light
Uber fast
Shoots amazing
UL Frame
Clamping feedneck stock
Better efficiency stock than older Matrices

Cons:
Efficiency could be better, but I am not complaining.
Maintenance can be confusing if you don't know what you are doing, but fortunately I do.

Overall:
I love this gun, it has really grown on me the more I have been using it. I love how good it shoots and this gun has made me comfortable with using a 68/45 when I had always used a 45/45 before this gun, it just feels small enough for e to be comfy with a 45/45. I have had no complaints with this gun in the two months I have been using it. It is fast, reliable, efficient enough for me, no kick, shoots SUPER straight, and has one of the most comfortable feelings I have felt in a gun in a long time.

If you have any questions that I have not answered for you in this review, please post up your question and I will gladly answer it for you.

Good review. Ive only test shot them. But you really think it could convert me from my Ego6? I like the hell out of it, but im just not really comfortable w/ the feel of the gun.

What makes it better than a UL'd pm6?

My teammate sold his 06 ego for a dm6... He said the dm6 was the same but without kick.

For some reason UL'd Pm6's just don't flow for me, my Dm6 just seems to be more comfy for me, it just depends. There are a few little things you get with Dm6's that you don;t with Pm6's like a slightly lower operating pressure, better stock barrel, things like that...

I used a DM6 for all but one game at the last PSP I played. It was a great gun, shot fools all over the place.
