neither is the wrath, the multiple variations of the shocker you have listed, or the "aftermarket ions" the mag is still a sturdy gun running in competition, and one fo the best mechs you can get. especialy the pro classic New Airgun Designs USA Entry Level Pro Classic Paintball Gun - e or the PArdigm classic from RPG...
Sorry, but the wrath and all those NXT shockers are all still being produced.
You don't seem to understand, it's not a matter of me not liking mags (because I do like them...), it's matter of them not being in regular circulation anymore, and them being grossly overpriced in my personal opinion... this is after all my thread and my reviews. If you don't like it, feel free to create your own and include whatever guns you wish, and maybe it will get stickied as well.
That would be absolutley pointless. The only gripe I have with your thread is over mags, and as long as there not being activley booed, why would I want to do something silly like that .
I think you misunderstand me, I wasnt trying to be ugly(well I was to tomba because he was being rude but not towards you...)
Its a very good sticky, much better than the ones I've knocked up.

lasoya promasters r cheaper then the promaster now. They r discontinued and are like 200 until they sell out.
That is only on one site. Other sites still sell them for 300+, or 400+. Anyways, I don't like switching guns to different categories or adding new guns, it's a bit of chore since this forum only allows 10 images per post. It requires some juggling around off entire categories sometimes.
I'd prefer to wait until a gun just becomes obselete and just delete it from the list entirely. Once it gets to a point that there are a lot of new guns out, maybe I'll make the third version.
Just to let people know, I haven't edited this in a fair while so prices listed may be higher than what they actually go for now a days. I'd edit, but I'd prefer to wait a while longer and make the 3rd version.
i have a question about a marker.
is the proto martrix dm6 an electronic marker and if so what are its settings.
i am looking to upgrade mine or sell my 05 on ebay and buy 07 but i want to know about 06.
The Proto Matrix line and the Dye Matrix line are two separate guns. The settings are whatever you program it to do, although the PM6 only has semi (with adjustable dwell, debounce, etc. etc.). Go look at the manufacturers websites that I've provided with each gun.
I'm going to guestimate V3 will be up by the end of this month. I have finals to worry about right now and another more important project, but it's actually somewhat similar to this so V3 should be a bit easier to make.
I'm wondering if I should reconsider my deadline, as there's not a whole lot of new stuff that's been released since this thread was made; just some price drops.

Good stuff! You should include brass eagle, spyder and pirranah are the caddilac of low end guns. Brass eagle would be the ford fiesta. Oh you should also mention that spyders are also fairly easy to self modify without spending money, so you could end up with a decent marker for a very low price.

Don't You Wish You Were HYE?
I really, want a new gun, and I wonder, could I mod the MR1, to being a really great gun? a higher end one? I won't be able to play much, so I don't to spend a lot of money, and I play mostly rec, and speed ball. If I get the mr1 won't have to wait till my next paycheck, (not to mention I'm saving for a house)
Great thread man. Answered a lot of my questions about which gun I should buy, thanks

i don't think I saw the Tippmann X7 of that list or the A5 also most of the guns I saw were more like speed ball guns. But then again I'm kinda new to paintball
-Planet Eclipse Ego7: Planeteclipse.com - Official Eclipse Paintball Products - Ego 7 (Ego7)
The latest and greatest ego. The ram sleeve has been eliminated so the ram sits in the body itself, allowing the body to be reduced in size in the back; also overall body weight has been reduced, with PE shaving off any excess metal they can: this is the lightest ego ever, beating out even the legendary SL66 line. A new board features more modes and allows the user to utilize either optical sensors or a microswitch for the trigger, something never done before. *Stacked tube air ram
*Autococker barrel threads
*Break Beam eyes
*Clamping feedneck
*On/off ASA
$1301-1400 Category
Anything more expensive than this doesn’t offer anything new, they’re just PL versions with special milling or something.
-Dye M7: Dye Paintball
The latest and greatest DM. Stylistically it looks nearly identical to it’s predecessor the DM6, with nearly no difference in weight or size. The only real difference is the revamped self-cleaning eye system. The original system introduced with the DM6 was plagued with problems, so much so that some people took it out and just used DM5 eyes. This new system promises to be much better, which means in the event of a ball break, you might be able to shoot right through it without bothering to squeegee. *Spool valve
