Spyder Pilot ACS

I'm new to paintball and was given the Pilot as a Christmas present. My cousin is doing a few things and I'm ordering some basic upgrades next week. I'm probably mostly a weekend woodsball person that might play on an actual field here and there and maybe a tourny at some point.

Here's my setup :

Spyder Pilot ACS
Shortened Trigger Pull
J&J 14" Ceramic Barrel
CCM/NDZ/Trinity Feedneck
Egg II

Whatcha Think ?

Huh the gun review section is about what YOU think about your marker.

But you have nice ups on it, no real needs to upgrade more. Have fun !

Hey maybe instead of removing it, write a review about it after a couple of games , compare it to the other markers you used (in the simmilar price range). That would be nice. Happy hunting.

I would compare it if I had used other markers, but I will definately do a write-up in a couple weeks after I get it back from my cousin and play some games.

Pick some examples from others reviews in that section, and use the base to write yours about the Pilot ACS

I will be having my marker back to me this weekend. I'm going to put everything on and shoot around on Saturday and then play at a shop owners personal field on Sunday. I'll write something Sunday night or the following week.

I will have to say after shooting her and playing for a few days the pilot isn't a terrible marker for a start. I was happy with the overall performance, but I was chopping a good number of balls and out gunned by the timmys, egos, and dm's all day long. I think that a good tweak of the spring might help with the ball chopping. This marker is a great marker, but wasn't comfortable for me to use. I'm a fairly small handed and short armed person. The marker felt long and just akward in my hands. I used a bob long and shot a few others ( ion & autococker ) that felt 100x better.

Overall I'm pleased and with a few mods this would make for a fun woodsball or backup marker, but just not speedball. (which is my area of play)
