Huh sry martix but I think the custom pro doesn't have a response trigger. Actually both are the same markers, the PRO add to the 98 a longer barrel (11') a double finger trigger and a drop forward, not much...

Found this on the tippmann website. It has the ability to accept the response trigger, but it is not installed.

From tippmann website again, proving what I am saying.
Back to thread, both are the same markers, sure the stock barrel is a bit more accurate, and the drop forward and the double finger trigger feels better to me, but I think thoses upgrades are really worth the money, for only 20$ more, but that's up to you, everything depends on your personnal feeling.
But remember both will shoot the same.
