Proto SLG vs. Ion

Im trying to decide on a gun to get for Christmas, I was wondering if anyone could help me decide which one or has other recommendations in this price range.

I want an affordable gun, about entry level quality but of course would like to get the best I can for the money.

I have zero experience with the SLG, but if it is anything like the Rail, I'd say stay away from it. The rail looks and feels even more cheap than the ion, and if the SLG is cheaper I'd have to say go with the Ion.

If you ask me though, save up some more and get the Epiphany. The upgrades that it comes with are well worth the extra money you spend on the Epiphany.

Of course, for any of these electropneumatic or spool-valve guns, you have to have HPA.

late, but yeah the epiphany has been very good to me so far, and it really has many many changes in it from the ion.
