PMR vs ???
I have been shooting a 07 PMR for about 6 months. I have been happy with it. The other day while playing woodsball a few showed up with Chipley autocockers. They shot further and was much more accurate. I was able to put more paint down range. I use a Halo and a high pressure tank. Their skill was a notch better than mine.
I want to upgrade. I don't like being out gunned. What do you recommend? I want accuracy, distance, and low maintenance. Thanks,

no it's not an upgrade. if they shot harder it an illusion. they may have been more accurate due toe barrel kits. See autocockers do not have detents to hold paintballs from rolling out so they have to use barrel kits to do it. If you use a bore size about he sam e as teh paint you're shooting, they wont' roll out. consequently it also gives your accuracy and effeciency a boost as well

PMR's are very nice markers; I should know; I own one. If they were shooting farther down field, then they had their velocites a lot higher than your was, and if they were slightly more accurate than you were, it's due to the fact that they (as Matrix_Agent said) have barrel kits. These allow for you to place inserts into the barrel back which will allow you to get a better "paint to bore match." This will drastically increase your accuracy.
In my opinion, the PMR is definitely a better marker than an Autococker.

They are better then you. Stop blaming the problem on your marker and get better. If their shots have more range, they must have their velocites higher than yours.

Hello, they are better, duh, I stated so.
I did not like getting into their firing range so I could get close enough to shoot. Thanks for the info on the barrels. I did not know barrels were so important. Thanks!

just one more thing to note:
autockers are not bad markers. they are very very good markers. they're just out of fashion right now, so to speak.
