a couple of questions (used angel)

Hi my name is Caleb i live in utah and for about 3 months now i have been doing research on the right gun to buy i came across this add for a Angel Infinity Series Paintball Marker with a 3000 psi nitrogen tank, 2nd spiral port barrel, electric speed hopper, charger and barrel cleaner for 350 and i have jewed him down to 300. He said he rarely used it, its about 2-3 years old but he said it just sits.

I am worried about buying it and having it break or from the research i have done i should buy a timpman 98 or a5 or a spider.

my limit is 300 dollars any suggestions thanks.

if it's your first marker yes. however the good news is that you can pick up a cheap spyder for under $100 easily. I'd suggest buying one, learning how t maintain it properly, play with it till you feel confident, then make the jump to your angel. The reason is that every new owner makes mistakes, the low end markers can handle said mistakes much more easily than the more expensive markers can.

I'm just saying that you need to know how to take care of it. If you managed to break a brass eagle stingray I can't imagine the abuse this angel will take.

it blows chunks. I'm glad people are reading about things before they buy them

the angel is a great marker, dont' get me wrong, Just learn about how to maintain it before attempting to use/lube/do anythign with.

the angel section of pbnation.com should have some great stickies about how do do all of that.

oh right. the A-5 is an overpriced 98custom with a hopper that's worthless on it. That's why i hate it.

If you feel you can take fare of the angel, go for it. Same thing with any other mid to high end marker.

First of all, the Infinity Series angel is not 2-3 years old. They are a lot older than that. I am thinking at least 5 years old? So if you could talk him down in the price some more that would be good.

But they aren't that hard to take care of. They are a little harder to take apart than most markers, but it still isn't hard. And maintenance is fairly simple. Grease/lube a few parts say, every 10-20 cases and drop a few drops of oil in every 5 cases I think is the average maintenance. Obviously this depends on how dirty you get it and stuff.

That would be a good place to get an appraisal. But yea it was at least made in 2k3. So it could be a 2k2 or maybe earlier. Not sure about the infinity.
