Diablo Slayer and air use

I was wondering if anyone knows if it is alright to use Co2 on a Diablo Slayer gun? I think most the time that you find the gun for sale it always comes with an hpa tank but I don't think I've actually found anything saying that it is not capable of running Co2 "safely".

I say safely because I have come across two stories of guys using Co2 on the Diablo Slayer and the gun crapped out soon after. Of course there can be a lot of things that lead to this but I would like to know if this gun really does not work well with Co2.

well i have always use compressed air (3000 psi) tanks on my guns because unlike co2 compressed air is a more constant shot and wont freeze your gun. so go with the compressed air. you can find a tank at a local pb shop.
hope this helped

the diablo website sure int' a help. I've never heard of this marker either. It could be a spyder clone, but it's hard to say. The best thing to do is to read your manual or give their customer support a call or email.

I already know all the pros/cons of hpa vs co2 but since the people I'm playing with are all running co2 and a couple tanks with it the actual fill up to play time ratio is far more in their favor than my current 48/3000 hpa tank and since we all basically take the time to do that crap together, I think its unfair for them. Its a pain in the ass when I'm the only one needing a fill and its like a 45min drive just to get to the place to get air.

No Diablo did have their own line of paintball guns but it seems like they have pretty much dropped that line and stuck to paintballs now. The manual included was absolutely worthless and like martix_agent stated, their website is about as useful. To my knowledge the Diablo Slayer is almost an exact duplicate of the Diablo Wrath gun which is the far more popular and known version. If anyone knows if the Diablo Wrath gun can function just fine on co2 I would imagine the Slayer would as well then.

My problem with contacting Diablo though is their actual email they provide on their site simply kicks back all emails as an error. If anyone else knows a contact for Diablo that would be great.

teh wrath can not run on co2 unless you take expensive measures to buy a palmers stabalizer regulator and maybe another one, just in case.

Yup, I emailed the tech at paintball solutions and they say its highly recommended not to use c02 with this particular marker as it could damage the internals. Appreciate all the info guys.
