i bought a Spyder pilot ACS this morning on the internet. and i was wondering, if the refurbished ones break easyly or somthing. or are they like new, and as strong and stuff, as if you bought a new one?


it's almost impossible to find a brand new pilot ACS, they're all refurbs. what's up with that?

They've probably been discontinued. Refurbs, if done correctly, are every bit as good as new. All they do is clean everything, replace all gaskets, orings, springs, then put it back together and resell.

and i don't know if they are discontinued, because i went to a sporting goods store last night, and found like 6 pilot ACS's. but they might just be ones left over or something.
