Alpha Black / Bravo One upgrades

Hi Guys

I just ordered a Bravo one Tactical (US - Tippmann Alpha Black). One of my previous scenario guns was a Spyder MR1 which I upgraded, I still have it and find it to be a nice, tough and reliable weapon and the upgrades I installed made it quite an enjoyable shoot, same for my 98 Custom. Does anyone know of a means by which I can increase the Alpha Black's velocity - spring kits etc? Will the shroud and front sight fit over the Smart Parts tactical barrel I have on my 98?

do not exceed 300fps. it's extremely dangerous. that said there's no reason to find ways to increase velocity unless it's having problems getting over 260fps. Why not try your barrel since you own both?

thanx
Still waiting on the Alpha Black - will arrive next week. i'll try the barrel then. My MR 1 gets up to about 360 fts - which hurts a lot. Since we are a scenario / woodsball club and some of our games are CQB based we do however wear heavy protective gear.

your protective gear is only rated for 300fps. it's dangerous to play at anything past that.
Paintball isn't about seeing how fast you can get your marker to shoot.

point taken and i fully agree with you. therefore we have certain rules about shot placement and distance. i use the mr1 mostly in the sniper role - 150feet plus. The extra velocity gives more accuracy at that distance and result in less dangerous hits - groin, head etc. i would like to use the alpha for the same pupose and only use the spyder as a spare for when non club members who do not have their own guns wants to join us for a bit of fun

the smart parts tactical barrel deffinatly fits in the shroud you may want to use something to fill in the space between the barrel and shroud though
