my ion review
so im not going into a ton of detail but im gonna give u the overview of an ion. okay so when you look at this gun you might thik it is a cheap plastic but it is not. the body can take a to of damage it is very strong material. when you pick up this gun it is pretty light, 2.2 pounds. the grip is pretty nice, i havent had a problem with it yet. it is plastic but it your hands wont slip. ions are pretty fast gun for a beginner, on ramping it can get up to 17 bps. it has very good range and is very consistant. now im gonna talk about the stock parts of the ion. there r 2 things i think u MUST get wen u get the ion, 1. a clamping feedneck preferably a q lok. wen u get the ion u will see how much of a pos it is. it takes forever to get the hopper in and out and is very hard. 2. a new asa, the stock one sticks out and just get in the way, i prefer a cp on/off. i personally dont like the trigger. some ppl love the trigger some ppl hate it, i personally hate it. its very hard for me to walk the trigger with it. i use a cp sling trigger and imo is 100000x better. the barrel is also a good idea but not one of the first to upgrade i would reccomend a cp 1 piece barrel. pretty much if u have an ion u will eventually upgrade everything because the stock parts arent great, bu thats the thing i love about ions, they r so upgradable. im only 14 so i dont have alot of money and i cant spend $300 up front on a pmr so i bought an ion and i can upgrade it over time. overall this is a great gun for a begginer but not so great for a tournamet level player. if u have extra money i would say get the pmr or the pmr se if u can afford it. overall i would give an ion 8/10
