Paintball Guns Won't fire hard enough, need help

I got my 2 paintball guns out for the first time in 4 years, one is a Tippmann 98 custom and the other is a Spyder E-99. When I hooked the the C02 up to them and fired them, they both did the same thing... Barely shot the paintball hard enough. I mean I could have thrown the paintball faster. And they also both did not re-cock themselves. I used 4 different-but-full tanks on them and checked each tank with a friends gun, they work fine on his gun but not on mine. My 98 also has a Car stock on it if that has anything to do with it. What could be the problem? Thanks

Oh, and yes i turned the velocity screws all the way IN and OUT several times and there wasn't really much difference, if any.

Are you screwing the tanks in fully in your guns?

My guess is that you need a couple of new mainsprings.

Agreed. Probably a weak striker spring.

I would also replace most of the O-rings inside the gun. I would be willing to bet that they are dry and cracked. Not the best for holding pressure.

true fact, you may want to try and find a parts kit for each of your markers, that way you would probably have all the springs and o rings you need for each marker, and some that you dont yet need
