My Spyder MR2 Review

This is my review of the Spyder MR2. I have a new electric hopper now so i'll do another review on the field this weekend and post it here.

Not bad for a "First Impressions" review.

I suggest you get a low profile clamping feedneck for your MR2. When I had my MR2, the floating hopper was one of my pet peeves.

dude you will never chop a ball with that gun. i have an mr2 of my own.. currently on ebay i wanna get more into speed ball now.. but i had a 18volt fasta loader on there and i never chopped a ball i probably put like 5cases of paint through that thing and it never chopped. I Dont even have the one with eyes. every now and then you do get a barrel break though but i do strongly recommend you pick yourself up either the 14 or 16 inch JJ ceramics custom barrel i put the 16 on mine and it was crazy accurate. The beauty about that barrel too is the fact that its self cleaning so if you have a barrel break just shoot a couple balls the first 2 will go crazy then the ones after that are back to normal. But yeah great marker for the money.. just a little on the heavy side though. But seriously get one of those JJ Custom ceramic barrels you wont regret it.

Thanks for the review. I've been toying with upgrading vs. getting a new one. I think I'll go with upgrading for now. That custom barrel looks pretty sweet.

that barrel is well worth the money. very very accurate and its not quite as loud which is nice like you can get some good distance on that.

Wink

Definitely. Quiet with accuracy at a distance is my favorite way.

There's nothing like that delicious look of bewilderment...

yeah i played alot of woodsball before i got my pmr and damn that barrel worked good i'd be hiding behind a bunker quite a ways away they would be in a fire fight with some one else and you'd just pick em off it was excellent

Can't stand toe-to-toe firefights. It's just one more way to die fast. Better run away and pick them off another day.

that jj custom barrel also with my 3 burst on i picked a guy off i think it was over 120 yards away i got him right in the mask it was excellent. another great thing about that barrel though is its self cleaning. so if you have a barrel break just shoot like 2 balls and yours good to go
