SPYDER MR1 vs TIPPMANN ALPHA BRAVO TACTICAL E-GRIP

I would like to know if alpha bravo tactical e-grip is better than my spyder mr1.I am interested in buying onw of those tippmann's markers but i don't know some stuff about this marker:
1)Is it more powerfull than mr1?
2)Does it sound better than mr1?
3)Is it more accurate than spyder mr1?

p/s I would like to apologise if i have written this thread in wrong category....

1) what do you mean by "more powerfull"?
2) what do you think "sounds better"?
3) accuracy is determined by the paint, the barrel and the person holding the marker, not the marker itself

1)if it has more power,or if the pb leaves the barrel with bigger speed, more power
2)if the sound is more loud or noisy
3)i am reffering to the stock berrles my friend

you shouldnt be shooting above 300fps at ANY TIME EVER!, and fields all have fps limits that you have to chrono to, so everyone will be shooting the same speed reguardless of what marker they have

loud markers are a disadvantage, but if you really want one all you need is a barrel with no porting (or just tape over the porting with something like electical tape) the two markers you listed are both blowbacks, they will be pretty loud stock (they will sound similar

stock barrels are all junk untill you get into high end markers, shoot good paint not from wal-mart, fred meyers or another box store (get good stuff from a pb shop, yes its more expensive but it is for good reason)

The MR1 is a stacked tube blowback and the Alpha Black is an inline blowback so the performance will be nearly identical. If you want a new marker I'd just save up for something different because going from an MR1 to a Tippmann isn't going to be an improvement.

I don't know its Tippmann's bottom of the line vs Spyder's bottom of the line flip a coin as far as I'm concerned.

if we are rating preformance as equal (personally id put the spyder just a tick above the tippmann but thats me) then the spyder is still smaller, lighter and easier to work on

the alpha black is the only milsim marker I'll ever recommend. this is because it's cheap and looks great.

accuracy...meh a $30 barrel will equalize them if you really think that the tippman is better.

All paintball markers are able to shoot at the same speed, end of story. this means you are wrong.

After you've played for a while you learn that it is what is inside the marker that counts and both the Tippmann and Spyder function in a very similar way and they perform in a very similar way. I've used the MR1 and I've used the Alpha Black and I am telling you that beyond the looks they may as well be the same marker.

i have an e-mr1, almost the same, and i would never trade it for an Alpha Black. for something higher maybe, but it's something at the same level, so the only thing you would be doing is changing design....

It's basically the same gun, though I've heard Spyders are easier to customize, work on, clean, etc. etc.

If all you're worried about is the mil-sim...

Buy that MR series upgrade:
Real Action Paintball Spyder MR-Series M4 Carbine Package at xpaintball.com:Paintball

That way you can have the higher-grade mil-sim look and keep the Spyder's superiority/equality in other aspects.

That's one hell of a long marker you posted there hollow, i hope those mods aren't too heavy because the MRs are heavy enough as they are. Aint easy to haul 6 pounds worth of marker plus tank, pods, water, etc for hours on a scenario or woodsball game.

there's a lot less to it, why wouldn't it be lighter?

Shouldn't be much longer than the factory marker. The barrel is roughly the same length and the stock is shorter, I believe. As far as it's weight, if you didn't notice the upgrades are nearly IDENTICAL to the stock/barrel of the Tippman. So it should be roughly the same weight as the Tipp would be.

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes
The field I go to most people have Bob Longs, Ion's and Tippmanns. I asked a guy that had an Alpha Black and he said he liked it alot. I would go with the Alpha Black
