all markers shoot the same speed and distance.
For accuracy, it's all about what paint and barrel you have.

A new marker wont' solve anything for you. I recommend buying better paint and an aftermarket barrel. J&J barrels are cheap and very nice for the price. To be honest, i wouldn't buy anything incredibly expensive for a marker which is rather cheap

Im thinking about getting a tippman 98 custom mainly because its hard to sneak around with a bright blue gun in the woods. what would be a good, cheap barrel for the tippman?

A tippman is no better than a spyder, It's also bigger and heavier and more expensive.
Have you ever been told that they saw you because of your marker color?

Human tend to see more movement than color in woods. I agree with Martix : a barrel and better paint would be a better option right now, until you want electronic to shoot faster.

A J&J barrel is great, the CP is just as good.
I'd get the JJ for the self cleaning incase of a break/chop.
As for paint, things like stingers, dxs, evil etc. not walmart type paint. Fresh ones right from the field or a good online store.

Well you could get a CP barrel or if you would pay like $100 for a barrel you could get the dye ultralight. An amazing barrel if you ask me.
