Smart Parts Ion help

I am not new to paintball, but it will be the first gun I own...I was wondering what upgrades to buy for it, or if there was another gun I should buy instead. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

not really to the XE, its good out of the box, trigger if you dont like the stock one, on/off asa, i think it comes with one stock but if im wrong get a clamping feeneck. after that a barrel and QEV.

XE still comes with the same POS feedneck as the standard Ion.

Get the magnetic detents from kila reaction (the stock ones are rock hard and dont move so the ball has to force its way past them), qev, and a used cp reg or any other good reg, barrel kit. these will help you the most with accuracy and consistency. the stock feedneck sucks so i would get the q-lock. or if you are buying the ion xe new then i would get the epiphany since it is only $25 more and it work much better and comes with a freak barrel with q-lock.

The stock Ion regs are amazing once broken in, no need to change them

QEV, trigger, ASA, feedneck, and maybe bolt, that's it

Or what you could do is buy the regular Ion and learn how to take it apart and such. I have a regular Ion and I can take mine apart and put it back together again in about 5 minutes. If you decide to get one and are having trouble with it shoot me an email mboghs20072004@yahoo.com and I could help you.

I can get to my EOS's bolt in 3 seconds...
5 minutes is horribly long just to take your gun apart to do regular maintenance

theres nothing wrong with the stock eyes, they are IR, and while i prefer laser they are just not worth upgrading unless the stock ones break
