Etek2 Or Rev-i

my friend was wondering if he should get a planet eclipse etek2 or a dangerous power rev-i, he has money for either of them and if he gets the etek2 he's also gonna get a stiffi mamba barrel and either cure 3 bolt or zick kit or both

if your going to get all those things for a etek you might as well get a ego 08
so id choose between rev or a ego 8.
I like the poppets better so i'd get a ego. This is 100% up to your friend, both are great markers and no matter what you choose its not going to make a difference in his game.

well do you want efficiency, easier on field maintenance, and simplicity or do you want smooth shooting, not as much kick, and quieter shot?

accuracy depends on how good your paintballs are. poppets are easier to maintain

yessir. accuracy is based on paint quality, consistency and the user's comfort with the marker.

i know people that swear by poppets and others that prefer spoolies. in other discussions this could be nelson versus sheridan or mag versus cocker. it all boils down to the same thing. there are two words that define every decision in paintball: PERSONAL PREFERENCE.

I'd get the rev-i. Its a spool and like 100 times cooler looking.

No argument 'mags are better than 'cockers and Sheridans trump Nelsons.

Dude the ego 9 are now 899 you can get one of those for 50 more then the rev-I and he wouldn't even have to upgrade it. If you can shoot both though and see which feels better to you. I personally love spool valves and have like 4 of them but i have friends that love they're poppets....mines still better haha. Jk. But still i would try both if possible.
