The only major thing I will say about it is that there are far better values in paintball. For the price, it's decidedly a low end marker. I'd much rather get an inexpensive mid-tier marker that's actually cheaper (Blackheart Vibe, Ion XE, Fusion F8, Quest, PM7, etc) than the SLG than pay more for the inferior SLG.

Agreed. There's better deals out there. All the guns miller suggested are way better than the SLG.

UL is just the grip frame, doesnt change the fact that the marker is still a sear tripped blowforward that they want too much money for

I agree with Trbo. PMR, Mini, BH Vibe, Ion XE, PM7, all those are good choices.

Just a little tip, I would highly recommend the BH vibe rather than an Ion XE. The two are basically equal, except the BH Vibe has a better board, better ASA, better feedneck, better trigger, and a QEV. It's also cheaper...which makes me wonder why people buy Ions period. I'd go that route if you want to buy new. Used, I would say a PM7 or a Mini, just make sure it's a gen 2 Mini. The first run had a lot of problems that were fixed in version 2.

No QEV on the vibe, if you install one it takes away the low force bolt, asa is a standard asa in no way better than the ions, last i checked it wasnt a clamping feedneck either but i could be wrong on that. if you go with the BH vibe that one comes with eyes so if you install a QEV you still have means of anti-chop

easiest way to tell if a mini is gen 2 is to look at the gauge on the reg, if it only goes to 300 psi it is a gen two, thats about it from the outside, so gennerally you just have to ask the seller, anything made in the last year is gen two for sure im not sure when they started making the gen twos though

BH Vibe comes with QEV, it's part of the BH board package. Also not sure about the regular vibe, but the BH Vibe DEFINITELY has a VERY nice clamping neck that's modeled after the Ego necks.

Yes, all the vibes have clamping feednecks stock. The Vibe ASA is standard, but it's not a duck bill like the Ion has, and it makes your tank stick out a lot less. The BH vibe has eyes, meaning it has an anti-chop mechanism rather than the low-force bolt. So the QEV that comes with the BH upgrade kit is still a good performance-booster.

Yes, it does. New valve body, Ion eyes, QEV, and of course the BH board.

I know.
