Hey I'm new to this forum so any help will greatly be appreciated. I play woods ball and I looking to up grade I currently have a ICD Alleycat. I have narrowed it down to three guns the Tippman 98 custom, Tippman A5 and the spyder tatical MR1. Looking for durability and which one is the best to customize. Thanks in advance.

Stay away from tippmann. How much are you looking to spend? On budget balling looking at a Smart Parts Vibe, or an Electronic Spyder.

Why would you ever want anything mechanical besides the Ally Cat?
Those things are AMAZING!!!

If you want electro, look into the SP1/Vibe or EW-1

if you've got an alleycat, there is No reason to be wanting a Tippman or mechanical Spyder.

OK I get what your saying put the money into my alley cat I wasn't looking to get rid of my gun or trade it in any way I was going to just get another gun and do some mods on it.

Also I was meaning to ask why so anti Tippman what makes them so bad I thought they were good at one point.

Ok thats alright on customizing the alley cat I was just going to put a better barrel on it I was looking at the SP-1 and I like it's features.

Too expensive for what they do, and recent quality control drop meens that all the internal parts of the new Tippmann's turn to dust after normal use


They were good, but not anymore

They sold out and went downhill in quality. Theyre' also very expensive compared to other thigns that are much better.

however, that new thing they came out with is promising, We'll have to keep and eye on it.

In your opinion what is the best pistol on the market I take it still stay away from the Tippman TPX as well.
