hahahaha...
Seriously. There once was a sticky for what upgrades you need for spyders. I don't know if it survived.

So, without further ado.... the rodeo is actually a fairly good stock marker with the following exceptions:

1) Barrel -- get a J&J Ceramic, CP one piece, or SP teardrop as these are by far the most reccomended utility barrels for spyders. Don't get anything bigger then 14" though.

2) Bolt -- Either remove the venturi (See www.ottersccustoms.com for instructions) in the stock bolt or get a spudnuk'l (they are back in business with a new owner who rocks!)

3) Regulator -- the rodeo actually has a fairly good regulator. You wont shoot down this reg using a mech frame. If you do want to change it though, you will have to get a new assualt block as well as the reg/block are Kingman proprietary and do not interface with others. For regulators the MacDev Gladiator, Palmers stabilizer, or Bob Long torpedo are good choices. For an assault block, the CP 15* is a good one.

4) Trigger frame -- you can mod the frame to shorten the trigger pull (http://www.acp-products.com/tutorial_mech.html) or you can buy an e-frame like the ESP.

5) Hopper - Should you go electric or have really fast fingers, you will need to get a hopper that feeds > then 10bps. Good choices are teh Empire Reloader or 12V VL Revolution (commonly called the revvy).

6) HPA vs. Co2 -- HPA (High pressure air) is taking over paintball. While the tanks are an initial expense, more and more fields and shops are filling HPA over Co2. HPA is a more reliable and cheaper propulsion method. Tanks run from $50 for the smaller steel tanks, up to multiple hundreds for the carbon fiber wrapped cylinders.

Other then that, you can change the valves, springs, and things of that nature.

Hope that helps.

And no, I am not a kiss ass, seing as if I put another website up, it will get *******.com.
