The Smart Parts Impulse is one of the most popular guns on the market. There is the base Impulse, then there are many aftermarket Imps. I chose the 03 Rat Impulse. Here is my review of the gun.

I open the brown shipping box, and find a regular Impulse box. For a monent I thaught they shipped me the wrong gun. Here is a pic of the box.

So I open the box and there is a lot of foam, I take off the top layer and wow. There it is. I seen the marker itself, a Freak barrel, .25 ounces of Dow 33, an Impulse manual, a max-flo manual, and an Impulse barrel condom. By then I was pretty pumped and decided to shoot it a little. I clcik the rigger a couple of times and wow, I am one with the gun. The trigger felt unbelievably nice. It was light and short. I loved it. Here is a pic of it in the box.

The first thing I noticed when I picked it up was that it is a little heavy. Not too heavy though, it feels solid. The grips could be softer but they are alright for now. The max-flo regulator felt really good. It fits in my hands perfect. I have big hands. This gun is so hot. The milling is great. I love the color of mine. The LED light is very bright and I personally like the color of it. It's a deep blue color. Here is a pic of the gun.

The insides are easy to learn. There are only like 5 parts you have to know and the manual covers those very good. I thaught it would be a little harder than what it was. It is honestly easier to take apart and put back together than my Tippmann.

This is a great gun. I like it better than my cocker by far. If you have 600 dollars to spend, I reccomend this. I like this better than any other Imp that I have shot.

I love this gun. There are really no needed upgrades. There are things that are good to have, but nothing is needed.

Great gun, I reccomend it to anyone wanting a good mid/high end electro.

I shot it with paint and air for the first time today, and good god this thing is fast. I guess the board is capped at 20 balls a second, I hit 17 over a chrono.

The Freak was a little inaccurate though. I'm gonna get a CP 2 piece and see how much better it is than the Freak. The Freak looks better but it's about performance for me.

After taking off the Max-flo I realized how heavy it was. I'm gonna put a CP reg on there and see if I like it better. The max-flo weighs about as much as the whole gun. Those are the only things I find that I want to replace. This is a great gun.
