Impulse Reveiw
I ordered a SmartParts 04 Impulse around a month or two ago and it was the best decision i ever made. I ordered it non-vison black with a vert reg. Right off the bat it was perfect. Consistant, accurate stock, quiet, and hot.
I didnt like the grips much, they were too stiff for my liking. And i also disliked the high-rise. Those two things i would consider upgrading on the impulse, but then again it all depends on what you think is best. Also the trigger feels weird to me, but it depends from person to person.
The verticle regulator is another thing i love about this gun, it fits well and it is very consistant once broken in.
Pros (for vert reg'd impy)-
accurate stock
easily upgradable
quiet
easily rippable
sexy
simple to learn how to use and treat
the vert reg is very nice
Cons (for a non-vision)-
13.7 bps limit
a little heavy but nothing you cant get used too
it cant fly
the two shoe trigger isnt the greatest for feel
grips are stiff
high-rise
Overall
i thought this was deffinatly my favorite gun i have ever owned. Get it, you wont regret it.
10/10
If you have any questions and/or comments just say so

No, the freak, stickies, and blade trigger and maybe the rise are not stock. Impulses are $420 for a stock body and $550 for vision stock body. For $525 you can get a RJR or a nasty. I would reccomend the stock body with no vision unless weight and looks are a big deal to you. You will have about a hundred left over to add things like a new trigger and a new bolt. If you have a lot of cash and are looking for a bad ass impulse that needs no upgrades, look into the Freak Factory and the Strange impulses. They cost over 1k last time I checked.
All in all the impulse is the best mid end gun you can get.

Another little impulse fact, gloss colors are about 2-3 ounces lighter than matte. Just throwing out a little fact.

That's the ticket.
ss is a thin coat, while matte is a really thick coat. Matte might have 2 coats, not positive.
