Not really a review of this marker but here goes.
I bought the EREX Pro Refurbished off the net. $60.00 The trigger frame alone is worth around twice that.
When it arrived it functioned very well right off. Right away it could outshoot the revvy on it.
First day out on the field with it, was a blast. Most fun I had, had in a long time. Having an electric frame was very sweet. As the day progressed I got more Rambo like from using this thing and then the accident happen. One slip, at a dead run down hill and one huge stump later. The reg on the marker was damaged and my wrist was broken in 7 places. In the X-Ray both my wrist bones looked like a glass plate dropped on a concrete floor.
So stock it is a very good marker. Only real complaints are weight and stock barrel (which is still far better than any stock Spyder barrel I have used ).
While having my little 5 months of rehab I started collecting the parts and doing the work I had dreamed up while in surgery.
nylatron bolt, Bob Long regulator, Dead On Drop with on off, maddman valve, spring set, polish job, several diff volumizers to try and some machine work mods.
$20,000.00 in surgery/hospital/doctor bills, four 4" pins later and about $200.00 ( really had to shop around to keep it around this much ) in parts, later, it's almost done now and firing near flawlessly.
23 bps ( had to use 100 pb's in a pipe to test it and yes it chopped a couple ) 285-290 fps and 375 psi. Its much quieter than it was, very reliable, fast, looks pretty good and very flat shooting.
Wanting to try an assault block over the stock modified one but other than that this thing is setup for action. Well maybe a lighter gram switch too.
$260.00 for an electric marker that can perform like this is hard to beat from what I have seen and I am glad I am on the operating end.
Some may laff at the Spyder clones or blowbacks in general but for the money this clone rules and with a few upgrades it can stand toe to toe with the high end markers.
