Spyder Victor (Original)
My current marker is an Original Spyder Victor. I have used it for over 6 months simply because I dont have much cash.
The Victor is a great beginner gun...the gun has never broken for me and is reliable during game play.
The power on it is not great, however, it can get up to 280 fps which is about the average chrono speed for paintball facilities.
The accuracy is decent as long as you dont have your velocity turned up all the way. If you start to shoot quickly, the paintballs will start to spin and swerve but will still go in the general direction of where you want it to go. This will also happen if the velocity is turned too far up.
The trigger is a standard spyder mechanical and is not capable of shooting of over 8 bps. The drop forward is one that I would upgrade and the hose does not have a expansion chamber. The bolt is sometimes troublesome with chopping balls and cocking but there are no problems that cannot be fixed by running a squegee through your barrel.
The stock barrel is alright but I would consider upgrading it to a 10 inch or 12 inch at least. This gun is one that is usually bought while a beginner and upgraded or sold later. My final score...
6.5/10 for spyders
8/10 for spyder mechanichals
