im not a millionare, and this will be my first gun, im thinking of getting...

Spyder Victor 2 -$50
Smart Parts All American 18'' Barrel -$75
(maybe) ACI PHAT Expansion Pack -$25

what do you think

ohh yea, i also don't want an electric gun, all they do is shoot faster bps right? if so, i dont need that, i want accuracy i also here 18 barrel's aren't good, why not, wont they be more accrute?

First of all, 18" barrel = way too long. Go with a 12"-14" barrel and you will be happy. Second. I would go with a spyder extra or rodeo over the victor 2. They are ok markers, but with the others, you get more for your money.

It all depends on your price range:

Xtra = $75 or so, then get a 20oz Co2 for $20, a 12v Revolution hopper for $25, and a good set of goggles for like $50 bux.
The stock barrel on the extra is ok, but don't spend a ton upgrading it. It really makes no sense to have a $80 barrel on a $75 marker. Get a J&J Ceramic, CP one pieces, or SP Progressive barrel for like $30 (cheaper used - look at the B/S/T threads.. they are always there)

Then all you need is hundreds and hundreds for paint and co2 refills and you are just like the rest of us!

Thanks, i still think imma go with the Victor2 for $25 less than the X-tra, but still thanks

2 more quick questions...
-is 16'' better than 14'', or r they the same
-whats a better barrel: J&J Ceramic or Smart Parts AA, and if possible... why?
thanks again

Ya an 18 inch barrel is way way way too long. Go with 12 or 14 inch. I like the ceramic, cuz they are cheaper, but i like the smart parts AA too. Basically follow MedicDVG's advice.

Thumbs up

alright guys, Thanks for all the imput. I was going for a CHEEEAP gun, that still functioned well. With this forum and some pb review sites, i made my decision...

-Spyder Victor2: $49.00
-Package B (mask/squegee/20oz co2/condom/vl200/swab): $59.99
-J&J Ceramic : $32.99
-130 Avola E-tron loader (same $$$ as a pod but this is a hopper w/ on/off) : $3.95
-SHIPPING: FREE!!! lol

I think I got a good deal, and remember, this is my first gun (kick anus blade!!! )... how'd I do

PS Thnaks for the input guys

don't waste your money buying a cheap marker...save like 200.00 and you can get a good set.

lol, easy for you to say "BloodyAznX"
My parents dont like any kind of guns, so they aren't helping to pay for it

I do not have a job (dont say "Well go get one stupid!" unless i want to flip burgers, there isn't much of a job i can get in my town, and im a vegetarian...)

So for me, saving "like 200.00" would take "like 5 years."

Like I got 200.00 saved up too. It took me a while to get money for my tippman and starter package. Btw...how old are you? My parents has a 1/100 intrest in my guns, but they really have 0 since they have to care as a parent. If your still in school..go around the tables at lunch, and ask for like 1.00 or something..I get like 10.00+ doing that everyday.

Lol azn, you begger. Well yeah money isnt coming quick for me either. Got school right now so I cant get a job, so I'm saving off of what I get weekly and with other expenses like food, school, and whatever, It gets hard to save. I got about 135 saved and I'm buying a T1. I'm gonna ask pops to use his ebay account to buy it now and pay him back what I owe after. And plus, I want to go to the nintendo fusion tour and see the atreyu show, so things come up that I spend money on. Eeep rock concerts!

I have heard somewhere (I can't remember if I read it, or if it was brought up in conversation) that the first 7 inches of the barrel are the mot important, and that the rest is for porting to make the shot more quiet. I don't know how much truth there is to that (please correct me if I am wrong) but I thought I would add that as an afterthought to the barrel postings above.
