So yea i'm the proud owner of a Diablo Mongoose. (did i say proud?) Its a decent marker for its price. I tried playing it out of the box, but that is a bad idea. It needs a few things done to it to bring it up to par. First off i had to get a new spring. (other one was to weak) Secondly the macro line leaked like crazy. So if i was playing with it you could hear a nice hisssing noise as i came around the cornor. So i took the macro off and replaced it with steal breaded line which doesn't leak.
I heared you don't need to do that all you really need to do is get some pipe tap and string it around the macro line. <that looks to cheap for my taste> I also got a new barrel, stock barrel was alright but i wouldn't use it all the time. Also another thing that goes wrong during games is that all the bolts come loose. So make sure you got a screw driver around, after every game. Its an alright gun, for rec ball, i'd never bring it any where else then that. It makes all the newbies go "wow" but who cares what they think? :P This was my first gun, i'm pretty proud of the improvements i made in it. (being a newbie myself) Does anyone know of a good bolt i could buy for my diablo mongoose? Oh yea also my marker still leaks with some of the internal parts. I just put some loob on it and it was pretty much alright.
