The old angel detents. The '05 Speed ones work good.

05 speed detents work fine with the halo, I even tried small-bore paint jsut to see if it pushed through.
Just dont use brittle paint on a cold day and your all set...
lock lids are $21 for 6 of them, not a bad price at all IMO I havent spilled ANY paint yet. (other than like, 1-4 balls when reloading quickly)

I might be getting one of these with the 45* frame soon due to some pretty big discounts from a sponsor =) When you take it completely apart and clean every little thing about how long does it take? About what psi is your gun set at? thanks in advance.

I dunno what my gun is set at, all the mechanical parts of it are stock. Only things ive touched are the electronic settings and the trigger settings.
I dont understand that whole PIS setting thing, it works great stock so I jsut let it be.
Ive never dissasembled much, only the eyes. Took me only like 5 mins to clean em and reassemble. After the first time at least, first time i was paranoid about screwin em up and it took half an hour.

thats alot of money for an angel. You could have gotten alot of guns for much less. Did you shop around for used guns at all?

1400 for a whole setup is not bad at all. Why'd you take apart the eyes? Just go to a Staples and get a can of that compressed air. If you eyes get dirty, stick the straw down in the breech and give a couple of quick bursts on 'em. Works great.

thats awsome, thanks dude!
the reason i took em apart is because my halo made a paintball milkshake out of some crappy atmosphere paint. It blew up everywhre, like 5 balls broke in the breech and drowned the eyes in paint. THey wouldnt not work at all

Yeah, then you defiantely have to take 'em out. I broke a ball in my breech cuz of my halo a few times, i either use tp, a barrel swab, or the compressed air. the compressed air rocks after a day of play instead of having to dissemble and stuff, cuz it gets your detents pretty good too. Stick the tp in first, wipe it good, then use the compressed air and its all good after a day

too long; Didn't read posts
I'll ave to diss-agree with you on ur Protoswitch review, Trinity review, Dye lock-lids, & angel air review...
#1, the proto switch is an Ugly mask, It's made from cheap plastic that really isn't dependible, and IT has horrible field of vision. I'd get a Profiler over it.
#2, for the trinity Uni-mount, it's the same design as the Check-it. You must be doign something wrong with your, for instanse ur complaint about teflon. You shouldn't be using teflon b/c it breaks off and gets into ur Gun. you should be using blue loc-tite and letting it sit over night
#3, Dye lock-lids... POS just like ne of Dyes other pods. Made from a thin cheapo plastic that breaks VERY easily... I used to have some of them, they always got stuck in my harness and where very difficult to pull out b/c of the stupid bubble ****s on the side. The lids also come off VERY easily... and they don't hold 160 balls bro, they hold 140.
#4, the Angel air pre-sets blow my nuts. They are worse then Pure energy Tanks. they are heavy as heck, Very restricted flow, Slow recharge rate, and are over priced for what you get
i think you need to go back and re-think some of ur stuff before posting reviews
