the gun is not bad but it is a little slow. A good thing is it also has cam feed which is kinda like vision they don't chop a lot. also look at an impulse and a bko.

people who say that their omen's suck, just don't know how to mainttain it. It is very complicated to maintain, but if you do maintian it, it ROXXORS!!

a guy at my field picked one of these things up, the aren't worth a dime. the thing broke constantly, and was overall very poorly constructed

guns hawt but i have heard the stock barrel sux and the bolt is crapp and it leaks alot but its still hawt but id rather shoot my b2k over that anyday even if they paid for my paint everytime i played

It is a weird Closed Bolt blowback, dont ever compare it to a cocker.

I wouldnt get it if i were you...BKO or used b2k

i do own an omen and its a ton better than its made out to be. first run omens were crap, reason why so many people have misconceptions about omens. since, evil has improved it by fixing the problems with the recock. people have complained how touchy the tuning was, now the new valve will override any user mistake. the cam arms were improved to work better with the bolt, which is white delrin and is very sweet. my stock trigger is adjusted to a 1mm pull and sensative enough that it shoots when i blow on it. stock barrel is a large bore, so i got a ss freak. stock board capped at 15, new evil board capped at 25 with debounce settings from 1-50. has 2nd highest recharging reg on the market, the detonator. cam feed is better than reflective vision in the point that paint on it doesnt screw it up. it works just as fast as the bolt moves, while vision slows markers down. only prob is the kick, which is unoticable in a game, unless you are used to no kick. and if you want unique, the omen is. evil tech support is second to none. call them anytime 8am-5pm and they will ship any part to you for free...youll have it within the week. if your gun is ever broken, send it in, you only pay shipping one way, and if they cant fix it they will give you a new gun. and warrenty doesnt expire.

Evil guns are low quality and there is much better guns for the price, such as the pirahna Evo.

Omens suck. End of story.

The omen is not bad but if you got it you should get a pdp chip it will be able to go 25bps, and the chip is only 50-60 bucks. A good deal on the omen is 290 at paintball online

I hope that whole post was a joke. Evo is ridiculous - IT HAS A PLASTIC TRIGGER FRAME! Also, Evil and Pirahna are both PMI.

i have found a trend in here about people who are putting down the omen the are all saying i have heard. so if you have no idea about the gun you should be quiet the omen is better for the money than a bko.

I'm not saying I heard. I'm saying what I know about it. it's a facy-schmancy e-spyder that's priced as high as a cocker, low-end BKO or Imp. So for the same price you can have:

1. Autococker, slow, hard to take care of, but some people just dig the way it works.
2. Impulse or BKO. Fairly fast, upgradeable electro-pneumatic guns. EP is the way of the future for paintball. Even I, a cocker nut, can see that. Autococking pumps are still popular, but it's waning, and the stacked blowback has it's place, but not at the grown-ups table.
3. Odyssey 02. Basically a co2 friendly T1. Another EP, although one that's got a bad rap, but doesn't deserve it. It's actually just as nice as any BKO (stock, mind you), and includes eyes stock. yeah, bounce-beam, but eyes nonetheless.
4. Zip kitted Torid. The same basic idea as the 02, but with break beam eyes, capped at 36 bps, and doesn't have a delrin bolt (unless you got one before you zipped it).
5. Fancy e-spyder.

If the omen retailed $100 less, yes, it would be a GREAT gun. Put it on par with other antichop stacked blowbacks. For that price, it would be a good deal. But in the price range it's in, it's simply OUT OF IT'S LEAGUE. A spyder, while operating as a spyder (blow-back), IS STILL A SPYDER. And not worth as much as an EP. Regardless of what you've done to it, IT'S STILL A SPYDER.
None of this is stuff I've heard. It's all fact. Anyone who doesn't believe the omen is nothing but a fancy spyder needs to learn how the omen works.
