If you guys weren't aware of it, there's another thread up in the Rec Ball forum that covers this issue much more in depth than your "bashing and trashing" . Seriously you guys aren't really comparing these markers or reviewing them you're just stating your preferences.
Any gun works for woodsball. It's just what you like. There's no "best" gun.

you should get the 98c w/ flatline and double trigger. The e-grip however is quite expensive 4 it though

go with the Tippmann A-5 allz i play is woodsball and i have an A-5. Tippmanns are verry rugged and make very good scenero and woodsball guns.
go with a flatline barrel and a double trigger and if you want, a remote and the e-grip.

my A-5 is like a sniper rifle too. I have a Stock remote and a 21" barrel on it and it wasn't that expensive.

I'd say a 2003 Green or Black Autococker. Cockers are good on air and don't have much kick either.
Or a Mag, that woudl do too.

I would recommend a Tippmann 98 Custom. I have 6 of them. They all work great.
I believe that the 98 Custom is the best out there because you don't have to upgrade it at all to play, but if you want, you can turn it into whatever you want. Mine is worth about $900 now. It started at $140.
And since you have so much money, I would recommend you get a 98 Custom, 20oz tank, a vertical adapter and an expansion chamber (if you get the tippmann exp chamber kit, it comes with the vertical adapter), a new barrel (J&J Ceramic, Smart Parts All-American, Dye Boomstick), and a double trigger. You can look into more upgrades there.
Just google the above items and look for a good deal on the prices.

There is no best gun for woodsball there are guns that work better in the woods then on a speedball field. Take those and then see which one overall preforms better than pick the one that feels or looks best ot YOU! That is your best woodsball gun.

if ur new, get a tippmann (easier to care for, upgrades are easy to install) but if u know what ur doing get a mag (faster, as durable if not more)

Yea, if you're new, I would recommend a 98c (98 custom). I see lots of em in the field at home, and everyone seems to like them. I think wal-mart sells 98's but thats different from a 98 CUSTOM . I forgot what the differences were, but i think they were worth not getting the regular version. Keep in mind that you do want to have a nice chunk of money for balls, because they are expensive, and even more expensive if you get the nice kind that fit your barrel(why cant the cchaep ones fit my barrel?) someone should also explain why a gun is either a speedball or woodsball gun. whats the difference?
