My brother just got a CMI 14 inch True Flight barrel for his 98 custom and loves it. Also it only cost $25 with shipping so you can't go wrong.

I would go for the J&J Ceramic. And you might want to ask a mod to move this to the tippman forum you will probably get more good responses.

First off, you don't need to keep posting like that. People will eventually read it. Choose whatever barrel you want. J+J, CP one piece, and Flatline are good ways to go. But for the price of the flatline, you can buy a cheap barrel kit, which will suit your needs better.

im not sure about the 98 custom flatlines but i know the flatlines for the A-5's have EXTREME distance but not very good accuracy...but we were playin on our speedball course and they had RT triggers...not too sure...go look at reviews on a couple of review sites

Exclamation

Don't get the M-16 barrel. It's only good to use in pretty warm weather. If you use it when the temp. gets below 65, you are going to split every ball that you shoot.
