They look pretty rad, and good if you run out of paintballs on the field, just pull out the pistol and shoot em down.

or carry 1 pod and buy a case of awesome paint for the money it costs. Stay away from pistols, cool idea but bad in most pb situations. Only use if for like scenarios. They have bad range, are crappy and cheap, total gimmick. Buy a good barrel or something worth ur cash. PLEASE!

Pistols are excellent! Cool looking- Wow factor- Nice last stand marker- quick- and useful.

Perfect for the woodsballer or scenario player- very impractical for the speedballer.

If you happen to have extra money lying around a Pistol can be a fun investment :P

I can't see the pic anymore so hard to comment on that.

Can be used in speedball! Sorta Fun! Impractical - Hell yeah! :P

I just noticed the three exclamation points I just used, and strangely have not used any stimulants and am very tired....

As for the Crappy and Cheap, some are some aren't. The Armotech Zeus series is pretty reliable, The AGD Sydarm and the Palmers Squall are very nice guns by all accounts and certainly aren't cheap :P

edit: Most guns in this catagory cept the two I named, at least in the Semi-Automatic range, are going to be Stacktubed Blowback, Spyder Clones basically :P So if you despise Spyders you might be able to use Crappy and Cheap :/

As for range, they'll shoot as far as any other gun will, just probably not in as straight a line

For there intended range however..... I can hit anything I can see at 40-50 feet or less with my old Zeus G1 and frankly for its intended purpose thats all you need.

If your planning on longballing someone at 150 feet well... no :P

the reason why i say it too long to load a pistol and replacing c02 cartridge takes too long n slingshot hurts more and its cheaper too and can shoot more than paintballs

with 10 round tubes and a quick change CO2 its not to bad and ... you want to hurt someone more? Are you sadistic? :P
Besides in the time it took you to put the little ball pull back and aim that slingshot... 5+ rounds are already headed your way from the pistol so :P

yeah we use the pistols, when we play down pilot scenario's. We use the delta 68, works good. Pilot gets a pistol of 15 shots, has to survive until americans find him.

im getting a zeus RIS prett soon, with the holster and 20 of the ten round pods, oh and an extra magazine for 120

i cant wait, thier so much fun, and if your good and cn load fast you can use it as your normal marker for a gmae or two.

hell, thier just fun to screw around with, lol

this is kind of off topic. i have a pt extreme and the velocity is all the way up. when i shoot it only goes about half as far as my impulse. do you know what could be wrong with it?

Check the cup seal, and springs. Those are common things to go wrong with PT's.

I gotta Zeus G2, no complaints other than the pistol has be be cocked prior to charging the 12 gram.

Shoots fast and strait! Plus it has a good heavy feel to it.

You need a backup when you shoot an ICONe

yeah it came with a bad cup seal. they sent me a new one for free, no shipping cost. it's probably the spring.

Im kinda new to paintball but for a pistol i would say a zeus g2+ its not that exspensive and extra mags are only 25 witch aint bad also if you buy it from the warsensor site they give you a 6inch barrel also it has a side rail for sights

I have a PT extreme and have used some of the other like a Tiberius and Delta 68, they are fun guns but only really useful in woodsball or dueling with someone. I wouldn't even carry one in a speedball game.
