Gun after an Impy
I have been paintballing for about 4 years now, and I Currently have a 04' Impulse with strange bolt, blade trigger, 10" freak, small parts pins, psycho ballistics drop on/off, with an Evollution II Z-boarded, alond with an Crosssfire 88;45. I'm in the process of getting a job at my local paintball field, and along with joining thier team. I'm in consideration what gun i should upgrade to. I was considering, DM4, Nerve, Timmy, Shocker (Im looking at about 1k to spend). Any suggestions?

Those are all good ones, i dont see any advantage of nerve over shocker. What about a angel?

I've never reallly have liked angels, don't know why :\. Maybe if I finf a good one then ill consider, but as of now im leaneing more towards the DM4, but i want other opinions.

Personal preference. Since you like DM4's, try and buy a used one for about 1,000. Dm4's new still cost alot. i'm not sure how much, but i beleieve more than 1 grand.

i like pm5s a lot. Much cooler than dm4s and cheaper, and i think smaller than a dm5.

try to find a used DM4 and spend the extra money on a ramping chip or a evolve x92 bolt kit. Also, look into vikings and cyborgs

Just try out different guns and see what you prefer. With your budget, you most likely will be looking used, so if you get the job, I am sure you will A) Get to try out different guns and B) Know people that are selling guns within your pricerange locally.

go dm4, dm5, proto matrix, 05 speed, a4 fly.....any of those used....
