its heavier then 98% of the guns. so yes compared to other markers it is considered heavy. and maybe some people like light guns? not everyone has the same prefrences as you muscle man.

Unless your a whimp...don't worry about the weight. Matrices are very nice. There is accuracy is good, no kick, and can be very effecient with the right parts. With the right parts and gun setup correctly you won't chop most likely either.
