Halo vs Reloader

Ok, so I've been searching around the forums and my own research to narrow my hopper search to the Halo or the Empire Reloader. But what I was surprised to find was there was no thread really comparing the two. I know the basic difference is the halo has eyes and the reloader is sound activated. So is there an overall preference out there? Please let me know which one you would pick, or did pick and why. Thanks a lot.

I would pick the Reloader B. It seems like the best hopper to me. I think its actually faster than my pulse...

I have a reloader and have used a hopper with eyes, but not a halo. I would much rather have a hopper that is sound activated so it feeds a ball everytime instead of waiting for a gap to start to agitate.

QFT, reloaders are a little bit better on batteries if I remember correctly.

This is an age old question, it basically boils down to sound activation vs eyes. There are disadvantages of both.

Disadvantages:
Halo: Eyes can't always read dark paint, making it blend some paint.

The Halo works in bursts, because it dosn't rotate unless the eyes can't see paint. This makes it hard to fire at say 20 bps constantly.

Reloader: It can rotate if there is a loud noise like another marker close by firing, making it blend paint.

The sound activation seems to be a bit slower to start spinning so if you fire in short but fast bursts it seems to slow you down a little.

with your pyder just get an eggy for now, and when you get a better gun go on and upgrade.

All hoppers fit the same way. Unless it is unique loader like a Q-loader or warpfeed.

I too have been going back and forth between the Halo V32 and the Empire B2...I think I've finally decided on the Empire B2 the main reason being that I don't want to have to deal with paint not working in the Halo.

Additionally if outside noise causes the Empire to spin, it will only drop a ball if it needs one, therefore the outside noise won't be a major factor.
