you still have a massive hopper sticking out of the side.
Forcefed hoppers only feed when the marker is firing, it's not like they are mashing paint together while you are not firing.

Not entirely true. Cheaper force feed hoppers like a VL force model are on all the time. In addition, those with a sensor don't start moving again until the paintballs move after your shot. The cyclone feeder starts moving during the shot not afterward. It has a faster response, but results in the slight increase in gas use.

nothing noticeably faster will occur. If if fed faster, you would see all paintball markers attempting to use something like it.
It's just a gimmick to make more money for Tippman. The only thing i see it being useful for, is if you wish not to use batteries.
Even the cheaper hoppers like you speak of, are not harming the balls.
The systems with eyes have spring(or magnet) loaded drive cones that feed balls before the eyes sense the paint; that way you don't have to wait for the motor to kick in.

My friend has it on his A-5 but from what he has told me it chops if you don't use good paint.

iv seen good results with JT tactical and depending on the batch, RPS premium. Nightmare seems to usually do ok as well
really it just depends on what is available in your area. most paints are not sold everywhere

Premium is one that is nearly universally sold. I know of very few areas in the country it's not available. Not all shops carry it, but those that do usually price it reasonably as well. Overall, it's one of the best of the mid-tier paints. Not as cheap as many, but still affordable usually. My absolute favorite recball paint when available.

i agree with that to an extent, my only issue with premium is iv gotten some cases that were quite brittle and some that were more bouncy. it seems to not have the longest shelf life which is one reason i cant say i like it all the time since i never know which batch i am going to get.

for the first time, i shot all-star. man its more consistent than evil batch for batch, and can stand up to a bit more temperature flux.

All Star is fantastic! I'd use it more, but I generally get Evil for about $20/case cheaper. It's not really worth the extra money...
