the ricochet apache is a 12 volt agitating hopper.it can feed 20 bps and has a bunch of nice litle features.the ball counter isnt that accurate but can give you a rough estimate.it has a game timer that beeps when time is running out and its time to grab the flag.it works alittle different then that of a revvy.a revvy feeds when the sensor detcts a gap in the ball stack.the apache uses a bend sensor.when the sensor detects the stack is moving it continues to feed until you stop firing.the shell is designed to deflect hopper hits.now this doesnt mean you stick ur hopper out whenever because it only deflects hits every so often.the shell is also alot tougher then a revvy.ive never broken an apache shell but i ve broke my fair share of revvy's.

UP to 20 bps. If you getting a one kit you'll have to go with the halo b unless you wanna break a crapload of balls. It feeds consistently if it has lots of batteries.

if he gets the one kit he'll also want to buy eyes, just like everyone should.

ya well if he's willing to spend that much on ups for a spyder, he might as well get a cocker or somethin.

why? a spyder w/ the one kit will be better than any cocker you can get with that amount of money.
edit: not sure if you'll have to buy a new board to interface with the eyes, but just an eye and a sensor alone cost like 20.
