b2k valve prob

ok i picked up a old b2k1 cheap - and it looks nasty on the inside, so i'm just going to replace the regs, and valve first - the valve looks eff'ed up, but it won't come out - there was only 1 big allen screw in the bottom of the body, the valve is not moving? what did i miss

it might have accumulated some gunk around it and now it's sorta "glued" in there. Give it a good push w/ a barrel swab. I think u push it out from behind, aka push towards the lpr.

yeah i see alot of crud around it on the backside, my reason for trying to remove it, i took the inline reg off, does the upper part of the VA have to come off also?
